Military enterprises and key platform suppliers, frequently operating in remote, hostile environments, face ever increasing challenges to integrate data from many systems to enable Operational Excellence along with Operational Risk Management. Equipment health information from multiple, distributed sources must be collected, managed and utilized to provide optimized operation and logistics support decision-making. Assetricity has worked with major military organizations and their platform providers providing training and consulting services to aid in the use of industry and international standards for sustainable information flows from the platform to the enterprise throughout a platform’s lifetime.
In keeping with current military policy to leverage applicable industry standards, Assetricity’s IT Architecture Consulting Practice, has been developed taking into account platform support requirements which are common to the Aerospace and Defense, Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, Mining and Military Communities, who all must operate complex platforms in remote and hostile environments. This consulting practice leverages standards, specifications and methods developed and proven in the OIIE OGI Pilot to provide a holistic and sustainable approach to Model, Monitor and Manage complex Systems of Systems with a focus on enabling Operational Excellence, incorporating Operational and Enterprise Risk Management.
